Role Overview
Join Merit for Jobs as a Pipelayer in Hamilton, ON. Our construction association supports companies of all sizes across Ontario. This position focuses on sewer and water main construction.
General- FOR SEWER & WATERMAIN CONSTRUCTION
- MUST HAVE 3 YRS. EXP. IN RESIDENTIAL/COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION
- VALID G DRIVER'S LICENCE REQUIRED
- Hand dig around utilities
- Core hole in main sewer to install sewer lateral
- Tap water main to install water services
- Knowledge of pipe laser and trench safety
- Install catch basins & manholes, benching manholes
- Install main line sewer, water mains, valves and fire hydrants
- Interior drain knowledge for residential construction
- 3+ years experience in residential/commercial construction
- Valid G driver’s licence
- Knowledge of pipe laser, trench safety and interior drains
$29.00 - $34.00 + 4% vac. Pay
