Position Summary – Under the supervision of the Box Office Supervisor, the Box Office Assistant is responsible for ticket sales and customer service for all ticketed events at the TD Coliseum.

This role pays an hourly rate of $17.75 CAD.

About the Venue – Oak View Group (OVG) has launched the newly reimagined TD Coliseum, a modern venue rooted in the proud history of Hamilton. The arena hosts world‑class concerts, sports, and special events. OVG is excited to grow and attract passionate professionals who thrive in fast‑paced, high‑impact environments.

Responsibilities
  • Use a computerized ticketing system for walk‑up ticket sales on event day.
  • Accurately process payments for tickets while following all proper box office selling and payment procedures.
  • Provide a high level of customer service and tactfully resolve ticketing issues with the general public.
  • Assist the general public with accessing, transferring, and accepting tickets via mobile ticketing prior to entering the TD Coliseum.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Previous retail and/or customer service experience.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills.
  • Experience with transactions on a POS system.
  • Engaging, enthusiastic, and able to maintain composure in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as required.
  • Punctual and reliable attendance.
