WhoYou Are & What You'll Do
- Provide individual (and potentially group) therapy sessions using EMDR as the primary modality, as well as other evidence‑based modalities such as CBT, DBT, or trauma‑informed care.
- Conduct thorough assessment and formulation of clients presenting with trauma, PTSD, complex trauma, dissociation, or related mental health challenges.
- Develop, implement and monitor treatment plans tailored to each client’s needs, goals and stage of therapy.
- Collaborate closely with other professionals (e.g., psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, etc.) to deliver cohesive care and integrated treatment.
- Maintain detailed, accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Participate in consultation, peer supervision, case review, and team meetings to support best practices and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to program development, training initiatives, community outreach or group‑based offerings as appropriate.
- Stay current with developments in EMDR, trauma‑treatment, and other relevant clinical practices; engage in ongoing professional development and supervision.
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counselling, Psychology or a closely related discipline.
- Fully registered and in good standing with one of the following Ontario regulatory bodies:
College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) or Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW). - Certification in EMDR (successful completion of recognized EMDR training and affiliation with an EMDR association).
- Experience in post‑qualification clinical experience, ideally working with trauma, PTSD, or related complex forensic/clinical populations.
- Demonstrated proficiency in applying EMDR in clinical practice, including case conceptualization, protocol phases, and adaptation to client needs.
- Strong clinical judgment, ethical practice, excellent communication skills, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a teamli>
- Commitment to client‑centered, culturally sensitive care and ongoing professional development.
- Additional certifications/training in trauma‑informed approaches, DBT, CBT for trauma, dissociation treatment or other relevant modalities is preferred.

BeWell Health Centres offer a range of competitive compensation consistent with your level of credentialing. This role will be based off a practitioner split model or base salary.
