Position SummaryWe provide person‑centered care to support clients with medical conditions or injuries in achieving or maintaining safe driving capabilities.
Responsibilities- Conduct driving assessments (in‑clinic and on‑road)
- Provide vehicle access assessments for drivers and passengers to enable them to enter/exit a vehicle and stow mobility devices
- Formulate goals, recommendations, and provide client resources
- Plan and supervise client‑centered, goal‑directed driver rehab programs through driver rehab instructors
- Accept auto insurance referrals and complete OCF
18s - Prepare detailed assessment reports, OCF
18s, and vehicle prescription reports

- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program and a member in good standing of the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
- Recent experience in acute, rehab, or community‑based rehabilitation settings preferred
- Reliable, flexible, creative, self‑directed professional able to collaborate with rehab assistants and interdisciplinary teams
- Sound knowledge of community resources an asset
- Effective interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Positive work and attendance record essential
- Ability to adapt to new computer applications
