We are currently seeking an Account Manager with a focus within the Transportation sector. In this role you will help our company succeed and grow by providing exceptional day-to-day service to Commercial Lines Transportation clients.
What will you do?- Oversee the day-to-day servicing of the book working with clients
- Prepare Certificates of Insurance
- Check and process policy documents, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations
- Process MVRs, driver abstracts, CVOR, etc.
- Prepare and forward binders for renewals as instructed
- Prepare and forward form letters and documents to clients and insurers
- Process invoices
- Review client’s current coverage and exposures, loss experience and analyze risk to determine the product/service requirements
- Input and update claims and new client information
- Assist Customer Service Brokers and/or Producers with client inquiries or rush assignments as requested
- Know customers and fully understand their needs
- Document all communications and interactions with clients, carriers and others
- Address insured’s questions and concerns regarding policies, coverage, and premium payments promptly via phone, e‑mail, and written communication etc.
Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 1-year commercial lines experience, either from a brokerage or insurance company preferred
- R.I.B.O license and/or working towards C.I.P or C.A.I.B designations is an asset.
- Completed Post‑Secondary education in related field of study (college or university level)
- Interpersonal, strong communication and listening skills are crucial for this position
- Driven and results oriented
- A strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational skills
- Enjoy being a team player
- Self‑motivated and proactive
- Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel

The salary range for this newly created role is $65,000 - $80,000
