Optimize press setup and manufacturing throughput as a Rig Setup Production Associate with Johnson Electric in onsite Ancaster, Ontario. Rotating shifts apply.
This Production Associate role focuses on process optimization, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement in a high-speed manufacturing environment. You will set up manufacturing equipment, monitor production processes, and address automation, throughput, and product quality issues. The position also supports production quality, safety, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:- Set up, monitor, adjust, and maintain mechanical and hydraulic presses
- Document process changes, setpoints, programs, and parameters
- Execute Preventive Maintenance and Total Productive Maintenance activities
- Troubleshoot automation, throughput, and product quality issues
- Train Production Associates on production and quality requirements
- Mechanical Engineering Technology Diploma or equivalent experience
- Three to five years in high-speed manufacturing
- Experience operating and setting up manufacturing equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to interpret blueprints and technical documentation
