Mattress Assembly Technician

Assemble mattress springs and components for iconic brands including Serta, Beautyrest, Simmons, and Tuft & Needle. Your accuracy and coordination support consistent manufacturing output.

This non-exempt MFG position focuses on building mattress assemblies from springs, components, borders, and fasteners. You will flip mattresses, transfer them to tape-edge production, and maintain an orderly workstation. The work requires repetitive lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, walking, and efficient component sorting. Candidates need basic English reading and writing ability, strong eye-hand coordination, and close attention to detail. Prior assembly or manufacturing experience is listed as a requirement.

Production must maintain the integrity of the Make-To-Order system while meeting quantity and minimal scrap or waste standards. Safe, efficient work and accurate production documentation are central to the assignment.

• Position springs on the mattress building table
• Fasten mattress components to springs on both sides
• Lift and stack mattresses at the tape-edge line
• Complete production documentation accurately and promptly
• Cross-train to support quantity and waste standards

• Prior assembly or manufacturing experience
• Basic English reading and writing ability

• Ability to sort components quickly and accurately
• Ability to lift 50 pounds safely and repetitively
