Material Handler​/Logistics Operator

Our client, Manufacturing is seeking a Service Operator to join their team. As a Service Operator, you will be part of the Operations team supporting Production, Supply Chain, and Logistics. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and time management skills, a commitment to safety and quality, and the ability to prioritize multiple service requests in a fast-paced environment—aligning successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Service Operator

Location: Prescott, ON

Pay Range: $20.14 (after probation $22.20)

Shift: Mon-Fri 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

What's the Job?

• Provide production lines with materials and stock required to fulfill production demands
• Prioritize inventory drop-offs and pickups based on production scheduling needs
• Ensure all materials entering production are QC approved and properly batched
• Deliver stock and materials in a timely and efficient manner to avoid production interruptions
• Remove and transport finished goods to designated locations, including strapping skids when required

What's Needed?

• Valid G Driver's License required and Drivers Abstract
• Ability to operate or willingness to train on a 5-ton truck
• TDG Certification considered an asset (or willingness to obtain)
• Excel experience, including updating trailer sheets, plus comfort learning new software and systems
