Lead daily manufacturing operations at Savage in Westfield, Massachusetts, using production scheduling and supervision skills during the 12:00pm–8:00pm shift.
As Factory Operations Supervisor, you will oversee assigned manufacturing or sub-assembly units and coordinate personnel. The work emphasizes productivity, quality, safety, operational problem-solving, and production scheduling. You will also work with engineering, maintenance, quality assurance, and purchasing personnel.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop daily and weekly production schedules
- Allocate personnel across routine and high-priority work
- Monitor productivity, quality, and established standards
- Resolve operational and technical problems
- Enforce safety rules and required equipment use
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Three to five years of supervisory experience
- Manufacturing experience is a plus
- Thorough knowledge of manufacturing functions
- Trades knowledge equal to two years of college
