Your Part in it :

Working out of our Hamilton, ON office, we are looking for a driven individual to liaison with key stakeholder groups. In this role, you will be responsible for making sure the movement of over-the-road (OTR) freight across North America is coordinated and executed successfully according to our customers’ needs. We teach you the skills necessary to operate in the transportation industry by utilizing our own, proprietary technology.

LOGISTICS BOOKING AGENT

What the Job Entails :

• Create and maintain strong relationships with vendors and motor carriers
• Booking operations (Dispatching, updating and problem solving)
• Negotiate competitive rates with carriers depending on current market rates
• Gathering proof of deliveries and any other required shipping documentation needed to close out loads
• Effective and professional communication with carriers and within the business group

What We Are Looking For :

• Able to organize heavy volume of emails, email organization, sub folders, outlook follow up, a savvy outlook user.
• Ability to communicate effectively on emails
• Problem solving, ability to think outside the box
• Detail oriented
• Possess professional phone mannerisms
• Ability to manage stress
• Able to work independently or in large groups.
