Hours:
35 hours per week.
Work pattern
:
Monday – Thursday 8:45 – 4:45 pm, Friday 8:45 – 4:15 pm.
Hourly rate
: £14.83 – £15.01 per hour.
Location: Council HQ, Almada Street, Hamilton, ML3 0AA

Responsibilities- Work as an effective member of the Administration Team, delivering a high‑quality service to parents and staff within Early Years, Mainstream and Additional Support Needs Education.
- Support the Education Resources Central Administration Service based at South Lanarkshire Council Offices.
- Manage school admissions, placing requests and school transport arrangements, with a particular focus within early years and school admissions.
- Assist with the recruitment process where required, ensuring timely completion of recruitment checks.
- Experience of working in an office or administrative setting.
- Sound knowledge of IT with good keyboard skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Degree of flexibility and adaptability.
- For applicants born outside the UK or who have lived or worked outside the UK for a continuous period of three months in the past 10 years, an overseas criminal record check (translated into English) is required.
