Hudson Structured Capital Management (HSCM) is a leading alternative asset manager focused on private equity and private credit investments in the Re/Insurance, Transportation, and Insur Tech sectors.

Bermuda-based investment team member focused on sourcing, underwriting, structuring, and portfolio management of private equity and private credit transactions in asset‑intensive life & annuity reinsurance and multi‑line insurance/reinsurance solutions.

• Identify and execute proprietary investment opportunities in life & annuity reinsurance and broader (re) insurance markets
• Build and maintain sophisticated Excel‑based financial models (performance KPIs, scenario and sensitivity analysis, insurance capital modeling)
• Support transaction due diligence, structuring, commercial negotiation, and legal closing
• Prepare clear, high‑conviction investment committee memos and presentations
• Monitor existing investments: update models, track performance against underwriting, produce internal and external reporting
• Contribute to investor reporting and fundraising materials

• 4–10 years relevant experience (title commensurate with experience)
• Excel proficiency with extensive experience in insurance cash‑flow models
• Knowledge of private equity and private credit structures in the insurance and reinsurance space
• Hands‑on deal experience in life & annuity reinsurance, legacy/block transactions, or other asset‑intensive insurance investments
• Ability to understand and independently calculate and interpret performance KPIs, and Bermuda/other regulatory capital requirements
• Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills
• Full proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Existing right to work in Bermuda strongly preferred

Strong actuarial knowledge

Familiarity with Bermuda Monetary Authority (BMA) regulatory and capital regime

Experience across a broad range of insurance capital structures (equity, surplus notes, sub‑debt, sidecars, etc.)
