We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Horizontal Borer Operator to join our busy machine shop. If you’ve got a strong machining background and enjoy working with traditional equipment, this is a great opportunity to join a growing, employee-owned business.

What You’ll Do

* Set up and run a conventional horizontal borer

* Operate lathes, mills and drills

* Work from engineering drawings to tight tolerances

* Inspect your own work and maintain high quality standards

* Support continuous improvement and good workshop organisation

What We’re Looking For

* Previous machining experience is essential

* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

* Skilled in operating machine tools

* Bonus points for: SH75 experience, forklift licence, overhead crane use or knowledge of machine shop safety
