Do you enjoy working with advanced laser technology, reading blueprints, and measuring twice to cut once? In this role, you’ll help build parts that power today’s most innovative industries—while enjoying three-day weekends on a Monday–Thursday 4x10 schedule. You’ll join a stable, established team that leads with safety, provides hands-on training, and supports long-term career growth.
Your Mission Own the setup and operation of fiber and CO₂ laser cutting machines—specifically Mitsubishi and Mitz-style systems—so every cut meets spec the first time.
Load and position metal stock and fixtures for repeatable, accurate runs.
Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and specifications to plan operations.
Measure results with tape measures, calipers, and gauges; dial in offsets and parameters to hold tolerance and improve efficiency.
Keep the cell clean, organized, and safe; jump in to support production goals and teammates.
What It Takes Previous experience running a CO₂ laser in a manufacturing or production environment.
Confident with basic measurement tools, especially a tape measure.
Mechanical aptitude and curiosity to learn new equipment.
Quality-first mindset and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, hands-on shop.
