About the Role:

Our client, a reputable accountancy firm, is looking for a Part-Qualified Accountant to join their busy team. Ideal for someone studying towards ACA, ACCA, or AAT qualifications and seeking hands-on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare year-end accounts, including corporation tax, self-assessment, and property accounts.

* Assist with VAT returns and bookkeeping transactions.

* Take ownership of client files, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.

* Serve as the day-to-day client contact, managing queries confidently and professionally.

* Build trust with clients by going beyond compliance — identifying opportunities and providing practical advice.

* Collaborate with bookkeepers and fellow accountants, supporting their work and sharing knowledge.

* Escalate complex queries when necessary while demonstrating initiative to resolve issues independently.

* Contribute ideas and suggestions to improve processes and enhance service delivery.

Candidate Requirements:

* Part-qualified (ACA, ACCA, AAT, or equivalent)

* Previous experience in accounting or finance preferred

* Keen to develop technical and client management skills

* Confident using accounting software (Sage, Xero, Quick Books, or similar)

* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
