Health and Safety Advisor

We're seeking a motivated Health and Safety Advisor to support a major Capital Delivery team across a range of construction and infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for someone who can confidently guide project teams, influence behaviour and uphold high safety standards in a fast-moving multi-site environment.

• Providing expert health and safety advice to project and site teams
• Supporting compliance with legislation and industry best practice
• Conducting site inspections, audits and hazard management activities
• Leading incident investigations and identifying corrective actions
• Offering technical guidance on CDM temporary works, excavations, hazardous substances and site set-up
• Coaching and mentoring managers and supervisors to build safety capability
• Helping to drive a positive proactive safety culture across capital projects

• Experience in a construction or capital delivery health and safety role
• Strong working knowledge of CDM 2015
• NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent Level
  6) and CertIOSH (CMIOSH / CFIOSH desirable)
• Excellent communication skills with confidence engaging contractors, project managers and senior leaders
• Ability to influence behavioural change and manage safety across multiple sites
• Full UK driving licence required
