Role Overview
We are seeking an Experienced Senior Chemist will provide strategic scientific leadership in the design, development, and optimization of synthetic processes. This role requires deep expertise in organic synthesis, process development, scale-up, impurity profiling, and regulatory compliance. The candidate will lead multiple projects, mentor teams, drive innovation, and ensure seamless technology transfer from R&D to manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities
Led end-to-end development of synthetic routes for APIs, including route scouting, optimization, and process validation.
Designed robust, scalable, and cost-effective chemical processes ensuring high yield, purity, and impurity control.
Directed scale-up activities from lab to pilot plant and commercial manufacturing, resolving complex technical challenges.
Established critical process parameters (CPPs) and control strategies to ensure process robustness and consistency.
Oversaw analytical characterization of APIs using HPLC, GC, NMR, MS, FTIR, XRPD, and impurity profiling techniques.
Ensured compliance with global regulatory guidelines (ICH, FDA, EMA) and supported preparation of DMF/CMC sections.
Collaborated cross-functionally with manufacturing, formulation, QA/QC, and regulatory teams for seamless tech transfer.
Mentored and supervised scientists and chemists, providing strategic scientific guidance and troubleshooting support.
Implemented green chemistry principles and innovative technologies to improve safety, efficiency, and sustainability.
Managed project timelines, risk assessments, and documentation in alignment with GLP/GMP and EHS standards.

Qualifications & Experience
Ph.D. or M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry or related field.
5-8 years of hands on laboratory experience in xperience in chemical research or pharmaceutical R&D.
Strong expertise in synthetic chemistry, process scale-up, impurity management, and analytical understanding.
Proven track record of leading multi-disciplinary teams and delivering commercial-ready API processes.
Excellent communication, documentation, and leadership skills.
