English Heritage cares for over a million objects and hundreds of historic sites across England, preserving 6,000 years of history. With more than 100 staffed locations and 300 properties nationwide, the organisation balances its charitable purpose with around £155 million in commercial income from admissions, membership, retail, food and beverage, and online sales.

We are seeking a new Chief Financial Officer
. Reporting to the CEO, the CFO will have strategic influence across finance, technology, procurement, and major capital projects, shaping the full investment model. The role requires a commercially minded leader experienced in multi‑site operations, complex distributed estates, and diverse income streams.
