Job Title: Shunter Driver

Location: Tottenham, London

Pay Rate: £18.30 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday (Full-Time, Shift-Based)

We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Shunter Driver to join our team in Tottenham. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of trailers and vehicles around our busy transport yard, ensuring all operations are carried out smoothly and in compliance with company and safety standards.

• Safely manoeuvre and park trailers within the yard and loading bays.
• Move trailers to and from loading docks as directed by the transport team.
• Carry out vehicle checks before and after movements.
• Maintain clear and accurate records of trailer movements.
• Ensure all site health & safety regulations are followed at all times.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse and transport teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Report any defects, incidents, or hazards immediately to the shift supervisor.

• Previous experience as a Shunter Driver or Yard Shunter (essential).
• Valid UK driving licence (LGV Class 1 licence preferred but not always required).
• Strong awareness of yard safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and time management skills.
• Flexible and reliable with a positive work attitude.

• £18.30 per hour (weekly pay).
• Monday to Friday – no weekend work.
• Consistent working hours.
