Salary / Rate: £12.30 per hour, temp to perm

We are recruiting for the role of Device Repair Technician (also suitable for Mobile Device Technician, Electronics Operative, Phone Repair Technician, Diagnostic Technician)

We are looking for a practical and detail focused Device Repair Technician to join a busy technical operations team in Harlow. This position suits someone with experience in phone repair, electronics testing, device refurbishment or similar hands on work such as Assembly Operative or Repair Technician roles.

You will support the refurbishment and data cleanse teams by testing, diagnosing and repairing devices that need more in depth troubleshooting.

• Fault find and diagnose issues across a range of devices
• Disassemble and reassemble devices with accuracy
• Test repaired or newly purchased devices to confirm full functionality
• Repair and refurbish Samsung devices when required
• Carry out data cleansing on faulty devices using advanced tools
• Work closely with colleagues to maintain a smooth workflow

• Strong problem solving ability
• Previous repair or refurbishment experience preferred
• Good technical understanding of mobile devices or electronics
• A careful and methodical approach to testing and diagnostics

• Experience as a Device Repair Technician, Mobile Phone Technician, Electronics Operative, Refurbishment Technician or Assembly Technician
• Experience with Samsung repairs or mobile diagnostics
• Understanding of data wiping and cleansing processes
