Industrial Sewing Machinist

Position: Industrial Sewing Machinist (Permanent)
Noble Recruiting are supporting a professional & friendly Client of ours in Harlow, Essex and are seeking an experienced Sewing Machinist for a new position!

Full time, Permanent position - Monday to Friday's (8:30am to 5:00pm)

Salary: £25,000 to £28,000 per annum

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Sewing Machinist to join our Client's dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating & sewing products within an industrial manufacturing setting.

Duties:

* You’ll be operating our Client's - Brothers machine to complete various batch order requests.

* Set up, run, and maintain machines.

* Measure, cut, frame and load thread and materials as well as bind edges of materials and using a hole-puncher hand-tool for specific orders. (some materials are a little heavier)

* Interpret and work from templates and design files.

* Handle different metal and fabric products.

* Carry out thread changes / tension adjustments, and routine machine care through the working day.

* Inspect finished material products to ensure quality standards are met.

* Support the production team in meeting daily targets and deadlines.

* Help with other general production tasks when needed.

Qualifications:

* Previous sewing machinist experience (2+ year preferred, but not essential as training will be provided as long as you have some sewing machining experience which is vital)

* Detail-oriented with strong quality control skills.

* Able to work both independently and as part of a team.

* Comfortable in a fast-paced production environment.

* A commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety in the workplace.

* Driver & own transport is essential due to the location of our Client (free parking on site)
