Senior Architectural Technician

Position: Senior Architectural Technician (Permanent)
We are seeking a highly skilled and design-led Senior Architect or Senior Architectural Technologist to join a growing and well-established practice delivering high-quality commercial developments. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to take a leading role on large-scale projects across a range of sectors.

The Role

You will lead the design and delivery of complex commercial schemes from concept through to completion, working closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams. Projects will span multiple sectors, including Healthcare, Residential, Retail, and Industrial & Logistics, offering variety and technical challenge.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of large-scale commercial projects.

Act as Job Runner, managing projects through all RIBA stages.

Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage client relationships.

Ensure high-quality design, technical delivery, and regulatory compliance.

Undertake CDM Principal Designer and Building Safety Act Principal Designer duties where required.

Support and mentor junior team members.

Requirements

Master’s degree in Architecture from a UK-accredited institution.

ARB / RIBA Chartered Architect or MCIAT Chartered Architectural Technologist.

Minimum 8 years’ experience in commercial architecture.

Proven track record delivering complex, large-scale projects from concept to completion.

Fully proficient in Revit.

Experience acting as CDM Principal Designer and Building Safety Act Principal Designer.

Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills.
