Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 +DOE

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join a growing design team based in Harrogate. The role will involve leading the electrical design of building services systems and delivering projects from early feasibility through to detailed design and completion.

• Lead and deliver electrical building services designs in compliance with relevant standards
• Manage projects through all RIBA stages, from concept and feasibility to construction and handover
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and design team members
• Prepare and manage project budgets, programmes, and resource requirements
• Produce and review technical reports, specifications, calculations, and drawings
• Ensure designs comply with current legislation, British Standards, and industry best practice
• Support the development and mentoring of junior engineers and technicians
• Contribute to technical quality, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team

• Degree‑qualified in Building Services Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 4+ years’ post‑graduate experience in electrical building services design
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems design, including power, lighting, life safety, and low‑voltage systems
• Proficiency in industry‑standard software
• Excellent written, numerical, and communication skills
