Are you a finalist or qualified ACA/ACCA accountant looking to take the next step in your career? Our client, a well-established and forward-thinking organisation based in Harrogate, is seeking a Management Accountant to join their dynamic Cost Division team.

As a key member of the management accounts team, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that Cost of Sales are accurately reported in the monthly management accounts and correctly allocated to projects. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining financial integrity and driving process improvements.

• Lead and manage the costing and allocation of Cost of Sales in the monthly management accounts.
• Supervise and mentor a team of two part-qualified ACCA students, supporting their development and performance.
• Take ownership of ad hoc financial projects and drive continuous process improvements within the cost team.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders across the business to ensure accurate project-level reporting.

• ACA/ACCA qualified accountant, ideally with 1-2 years post-qualified experience.
• A strong background in management accounting, ideally within a cost-focused role.
• Confident in managing and developing junior team members.
• A proactive and analytical mindset with a passion for improving processes and systems.
