Watson Woodhouse are looking to recruit a skilled and motivated Crime Secretary that will join our dynamic team. As a Crime Secretary, you will play a crucial role in supporting our solicitors in their criminal cases, legal proceedings, additionally you will be required to provide regular reception cover.

Responsibilities

Assist in the management of case files, including organising and maintaining documentation, evidence, and relevant records.

Coordinate appointments, meetings, and court hearing for our Solicitors.

Prepare and draft legal documents, reports, and correspondence.

Maintain communication with relevant parties.

Handle confidential and sensitive information with the utmost discretion and maintain data integrity.

Provide administrative support, including managing calendars, and handling incoming / outgoing correspondence whilst maintaining electronic filing systems.

Requirements

Previous experience as a secretary or an administrative assistant in a legal setting is preferred.

Strong organisational skills and a keen eye for details as you will manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to interact with diverse individuals.

Knowledge of legal terminology. Procedures and confidentiality requirements would be advantageous.

Ability to work alone or as part of a team.
