Due to career progression, an opportunity has arisen in our Branch Management team and we are looking for an Assistant Branch Manager to join us at Bettys Café Tearooms in Harrogate. As an Assistant Branch Manager you will be responsible for supporting all departments within the branch to deliver outstanding customer service alongside supporting your Branch Manager in commercial success, customer satisfaction, people development, Health & Safety governance, Food Safety governance, and legal compliance.

This is a Full Time role working 37.5 hours over 5 days. The start and finish times can vary depending on opening hours of the branch, this may include some early mornings or later finishes with a normal shift length of 8.5 hours per day (no split shifts.) You will be required to work at least one day at the weekend every week.

You will have sound business acumen, a flexible attitude and experience of leading and motivating a large team. You will have a proven track record as a manager and will be looking for an opportunity to further develop your managerial skills and to support a thriving culture within Bettys catering and retail operations. You’ll have strong people and leadership skills with effective relationship building skills.

You’ll have experience in managing budgets and KPIs with the ability to analyse performance and identify opportunities for improvement and growth. You’ll have good knowledge of food safety and health and safety procedures.
