- Acute Frailty Unit – 18 bedded unit. Frail patients receive rapid assessment from specialist geriatrician consultants and the Supportive Discharge Service.
- Byland Ward and Jervaulx Ward – both 30 bedded acute frailty wards. Specialise in nursing frail and elderly patients with complex medical and care needs. Expert multidisciplinary team includes nurses, therapists, doctors, and a wide support team.

Byland, Jervaulx and the Acute Frailty Unit are led by experienced Ward Managers Hannah, Biju and Sarah, a team of dedicated Band 6 Sisters, and a supportive Matron, Jo.
