Make a difference by just being you
Whether you’re interested in working front of house welcoming and serving customers, preparing and serving delicious food and drinks or keeping the café area clean, tidy and fresh, we encourage you to apply.
This is an excellent opportunity if you want to gain experience in the customer service and hospitality sector but would also suit someone who wishes to use their existing skills. Volunteering in our retail and hospitality team is also an excellent way to make new friends and have fun. There is no minimum time commitment that we expect from our volunteers so whether you can do a few hours a week or once a month, we’ll do our best to offer a role that fits in with your schedule.
No previous experience is necessary as all training will be provided, including on the job training and via our online e-learning platform
What happens next?If you decide to apply a member of the volunteering team will contact you and ask you to come in for an initial chat with the cafe manager. This is not an interview, just a chance to get an idea of what you'd like to do and when you are available. From there you can meet the rest of the volunteer team and get involved with whatever area of the cafe takes your interest!
