Roadside Rescue Mechanic – Harrogate

The AA invites you to join our team in Harrogate. As a Roadside Rescue Mechanic you’ll provide emergency roadside support, ensuring members get back safely and confidently.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with members, diagnosing and explaining solutions.
• Work independently and as part of a team, traveling to diverse locations on all weathers.
• Apply technical expertise to fix roadside issues and, when required, recover vehicles to a garage.

Qualifications & requirements

• NVQ3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent with relevant experience.
• Full category B driving licence with 6 points or less.
• Ability to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

Salary & benefits

• Base salary £3,715 per month, achieved on an average 40‑hour working week.
