Accountant - Romanian Speaking

Overview

My client is seeking a Romanian-speaking Client Accountant to join their highly successful and growing team based in Harrow. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a progressive accountancy practice, supporting a broad portfolio of clients while enjoying long-term career development and training.

• Managing client queries around tax and accounts.
• Preparing accounts up to trial balance stage for review by the finalisation team.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Liaising with HMRC regarding reconciliations and payment issues.
• Chasing and checking client data for completeness.
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns.

• Preparing client self-assessments.
• Preparing and submitting corporate tax returns.
• Assisting with payroll and CIS.
• Supporting with accounts finalisation.
• Conducting client tax review meetings.
• Identifying opportunities to introduce clients to value-added services such as mortgages, R&D claims, and management accounts.

• Minimum 2 years' experience working in accounts.
• Fluency in both Romanian and English.
• Strong knowledge of current tax legislation and accounting practices.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and adaptable.

• Full-time, permanent position.
• Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 6:00pm.
• Based in Harrow, 5 days office-based.
• Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 (dependent on experience).
