About the TeamThe RPS Asset, Surveying, and Inspection (AS&I) team provides industry‑leading services to the UK water industry. Team members support water networks, drainage, surveying, leakage consultancy, water resources and efficiency, analysing complex data to deliver pragmatic solutions.
About YouYou will play a key role in supporting our strategic priorities by delivering high‑quality work and excellent customer service. You will work flexibly, including weekends, evenings, and overtime if required, and be willing to travel to different locations.
Your Responsibilities- Locate water main fittings using plans.
- Deploy and retrieve acoustic loggers that record data used to locate leakage.
- Enjoy working outdoors (rain or shine).
- Basic maths and English skills.
- Basic IT skills.
- Good hearing.
- Well‑organised and tidy.
- Take pride in work and care for equipment and tools.
- Can work alone and as part of a team.
(Full training will be provided).
Qualifications- Full UK driving licence.
This role may involve:
- Moving heavy items including inspection chamber covers.
- Working in all weather conditions, including night work.
- Working in confined spaces and on highways.
- Mandatory drugs and alcohol tests and a DBS check.
