Onpoint Care Recruitment is expanding our specialist support division, and we’re seeking compassionate, resilient, and skilled individuals to join our ad‑hoc and short‑notice supply pool across East Sussex.

We are currently recruiting for:

• Behaviour Mentors

• SEMH Support Workers

• PRU Support Workers

• Autism/ASD Specialists

• Speech & Language Therapy Support

• Occupational Therapy Support

• Pastoral Support Workers

Our partner schools, SEN provisions, and alternative settings rely on us for same‑day cover, short‑term assignments, and ongoing flexible support. If you’re passionate about helping pupils overcome barriers and thrive, this is a meaningful and rewarding opportunity.

What You’ll Be Doing:

As an Onpoint Support Professional, you will:

• Provide tailored support to pupils with behavioural, emotional, or complex learning needs

• Assist with regulation, engagement, communication, and daily routines

• Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, therapists, and wider support teams

• Support pupils with autism, SEMH needs, trauma backgrounds, or challenging behaviour

• Deliver targeted interventions or therapeutic‑style support (depending on role)

• Help maintain a safe, structured, and nurturing environment for vulnerable learners

We’re Looking For Individuals With

• Experience in SEMH, PRU, SEN, ASD, therapeutic support, or behaviour mentoring

• A calm, patient, and confident approach to challenging situations

• Strong communication and de‑escalation skills

• The ability to build trust and positive relationships quickly

• A genuine passion for supporting high‑needs or vulnerable pupils

• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
