Operations Supervisor

XPO Logistics are looking for an Operations Supervisor for our Saint Gobain Contract in Robertsbridge. This is your opportunity to take charge of a busy and unique operation. You’ll be comfortable delivering our commitment to the customer and driving the operation forwards – does this sound like something for you?

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £35,000 per annum dpendant on experience and shift. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. • Take overall responsibility for the day to day running of the late site and Transport operation, including the relationship with the customer.
• Drive operational compliance and maintain Health and Safety standards.
• Ensure that all KPIs are hit and meet the customer SLAs
• Get involved in HR activity, including incident investigations, disciplinaries and performance management.
• Maintain stock file accuracy through both manual and automated WMS.

• A strong, demonstrable background in warehouse management
• Ideally, you’ll have worked in a 3PL environment and understand customer needs
• Practical exposure to WMS systems and Microsoft.
• Experience of managing performance in a leadership role.
• SAP knowledge and application desirable but not essential.
