HRGO Recruitment are seeking a reliable and motivated Machine Operative to join our client's production team in Hastings. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, working as part of a team, and contributing to a quality-driven manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate must have previous experience in a manufacturing environment.

Main Duties:

Operating production machinery and extruders in line with work instructions and procedures
Working as part of a team to meet production targets and quality standards
Carrying out basic machine set-ups and assisting with changeovers for new works orders
Monitoring production and reporting any faults or issues to the Technician or Team Leader
Ensuring machinery is operated safely and kept clean and well maintained
Completing production records and maintaining accurate documentation
Transferring finished goods to the warehouse and ensuring raw materials are correctly received and allocated
Supporting quality, health & safety, and company procedures at all times
Assisting with trials and additional tasks as required by the business

Requirements:

Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment required
Good attention to detail and ability to identify faults or defects
Physically fit and able to work in a hands-on, active role
Willingness to learn and undertake ongoing training
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work
Driving license and own transport preferred
