The Ship Inn, located in the heart of the historic East Sussex town of Rye, is a family‑friendly pub and dining room with 11 individually designed hotel rooms. It's a popular hub for locals and visitors, known for serving locally sourced seasonal food.

We are looking for a Breakfast Chef to support the kitchen team in hosting breakfast service and assisting lunch service. You will get involved in food preparation and presentation making sure it can be the best it can, learning from the best. You will be a sponge and thirsty to improve, serving our customers high quality, well sourced, fresh food.

• Be a great morning person!
• Laise well with front of house staff
• Have excellent presentation and organization skills
• Be adaptable and easy going

• Previous experience in a premium dining venue
• Ability to work independently and unsupervised
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail

Up to £13.00 per hour plus TRONC.
