Open year-round, the Clive War Memorial Pool is a two-pool, heated indoor complex located in Farndon Park on the edge of the Clive River. The main pool is heated to 28 degrees and the learner’s pool to 31 degrees. The complex features a 25-metre training pool and 15 metre learn to swim pool, superb learn to swim classes and dedicated lanes for water play and lap swimming.
We are looking for a quality driven, energetic Team Leader - Clive Pools to manage our facility and provide day-to-day support to our dedicated staff, alongside ensuring water quality and pool safe standards.
Ōu wheako – about youTo be successful in this role you will:
- Be a confident people leader, with experience in growing a business
- Hold the National Pool Lifeguard Award and a current Comprehensive First Aid Certificate
- Hold Swimming New Zealand Swim Teacher Award or equivalent qualification
- Have completed the National Certificate in Sport & Recreation (Level 3 – Aquatics / Swim Education)
- Pool water treatment and operations competencies, including public pool water quality management (US 25980, 25981, 25982)
- Hold Certified Handler qualification, in line with the Health and Safety at Work (Hazardous Substances) Regulations 2017
