We are looking for a Yard Marshall to join our team working on the British Gypsum contract.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Organise and manage yard activities.
• Ensure that all aspects of the yard operation are conducted safely.
• Report unsafe acts and conditions to the management team.
• Take reasonable care for your health and safety and that of others.
• Be responsible for good housekeeping including sweeping, cleaning of storage areas and gritting when required.
• Manage XPO contractors in yard areas.
• Complete safety audits.
• Complete daily inspections of vehicle/trailer fleet.

What you need to succeed at XPO:

• Must be flexible in working hours to support business needs.
• Previous similar experience would be an advantage.
• You will always work in a safe manner.
• Ongoing training will be given in this role.

• Team Player.

Pay, benefits and more.

• Wages £14.45ph.
• Working hours:
  
  42.5 hours – PM shift.
• 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays.
