Senior Quantity Surveyor – Tier 1 Contractor, Welwyn Garden City

Opportunity to join a Tier 1 contractor as a Senior Quantity Surveyor in Welwyn Garden City.

The Role

They are currently expanding the team and are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to assist with an education scheme in Harrow, school/sports and leisure. This is a JCT scheme worth £70m and is set to run for 3 years. Mixed concrete and steel frame, corium cladding, swimming pools and sports hall.

You will be office-based in Welwyn until April 2026.

Line of report – Commercial Lead.

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in providing commercial expertise, ensuring the successful delivery of projects while meeting commercial targets.

Your responsibilities will include offering timely reports, advice, and support to the management team.

The Right Person – Senior Quantity Surveyor

* HNC or BSc in Quantity Surveying or a related field

* Contracting experience across multi-million pound schemes is essential

* Leisure or education sector experience would be an advantage

* Tier 1 or Tier 2 experience.
