Residential Assistant Block Manager

My client, based in Hatfield, is seeking an experienced and professional Assistant Residential Block Manager to join their established property management team. This permanent position is critical to the successful running of a portfolio of existing, well-maintained residential blocks in and around the Hatfield area. This role requires a specialist in residential leasehold management, focused on the maintenance, financial integrity, and legal compliance of managed estates.

What you’ll be doing

* Assisting in the day-to-day management of a portfolio of residential leasehold blocks and estates.

* Instruct, manage, and monitor external contractors (e.g., gardeners, cleaners, engineers) to ensure quality maintenance and repairs are carried out promptly and cost-effectively.

* Assisting to ensure that all properties adhere to current Health & Safety, Fire Safety, and other relevant property legislation.

* Serve as a point of contact for leaseholders, residents, and Resident Management Company (RMC) Directors.

* Carry out monthly property inspections and produce reports

* Administration and record keeping

What We're Looking For

Minimum of 1 of proven, dedicated experience in Residential Block Management

* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

* Full UK Driving Licence and own transport

* Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
