About the Role

Lister House Surgery is looking for a salaried GP to join their busy practice, supportive, forward-thinking, GMS, training practice in Hatfield (located near Asda on The Common). This part‑time position will involve 6 sessions per week, starting 1 April 2026, with flexible coverage to suit the GP's needs.

The role will include general duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care.

The practice is looking for a dynamic GP to join our supportive and friendly team.

• Fully qualified GP with GMC registration
• Annual appraisal and revalidation (when appropriate)
• Be on the NHSE medical performers list

• List size 14,000 patients
• Systm One practice, users of Ardens and Accu Rx
• Excellent modern purpose‑built premises on a single site
• Strong collaborative working with the 3 other practices in Hatfield Primary Care Network and wider GP Federation
• Organised GP team consisting of 8 partners, 3 salaried GPs, and 2 registrars
• Experienced nursing team including 1 nurse prescriber, 2 practice nurses & 1 HCA, with nurse‑led minor illness and chronic disease clinics
• Training practice
• Flexible session times to suit GP needs
• Low home visit rate, supported by home visiting service
• Excellent transport links to London
• Willing to wait the right candidate
• ARRS support including social prescribers, pharmacist, pharmacist technician, physiotherapist, care coordinator, frailty nurse, mental health team and health and wellbeing coaches
