To support our ambitious growth plans, we have a great opportunity to join our Infrastructure division. SOCOTEC is the UK’s largest independent construction materials testing division, delivering seven million tests a year to more than 5,000 clients either in our laboratories or on site. We offer the widest range of testing, inspection and certification services in the UK. Our sampling and testing methods are based on current British and European standards and are accredited by UKAS.

• Sample and test construction materials in line with UKAS accreditation.
• Perform a variety of field and laboratory testing methods.
• Complete test sheets, including all calculations.
• Liaise with the Laboratory and Section Manager on work schedules.
• Develop and support fellow technicians.

• Previous experience of performing a wide range of field and laboratory tests in line with UKAS accreditation.
• Ability to report on site test results.
• Valid CSCS card.
• Self‑motivated and able to organise own workloads.
