Job Title

Warehouse Supervisor - Havant

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Warehouse supervisor to join the maintenance team located in Havant
  • To control Warehousing, Goods Inwards & Distribution in a safe and efficient manner
  • To work collaboratively with Facilities team colleagues to provide an excellent support service to the Company, employees and visitors
  • Monitor and control racking locations ensuring items are safely stowed
  • Support picking/packing activities
  • Carry out daily and weekly Forklift checks and maintain supporting records
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the Warehouse and Goods Inwards area for safe operation at all times
  • Operate Goods Inwards, log deliveries and advise recipient
  • Responsible for providing an efficient service
  • Working with colleagues to ensure all Facilities related responsibilities are covered in a timely manner
  • Effectively respond to internal customer queries
  • Forklift activities, picking stock, loading lorries etc
  • Remove and dispose of unused items in the appropriate waste stream
  • Process and separate all waste streams
  • Management of Waste collections
  • Work closely with HSE Manager and Facilities Manager to ensure all activities undertaken within legislative and Company guidelines
  • Undertake inspection of workplace (warehouse) and reports any defects to the appropriate person(s)
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
  • Previous experience working in a warehouse, using forklift truck and lifting devices safely
  • Passed a recognised Fork Lift Truck course in the previous 3 years (still valid)
  • Good knowledge of Health & Safety requirements for working in a warehouse environment
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Experience working with customers and suppliers (either internal or external)
  • Collaborative approach to working
  • Organised with attention to detail
  • Professional in approach
  • Flexible attitude with an ability to work under pressure
  • Helpful to colleagues
  • Competent in Microsoft Office especially Word and Excel
