, you’ll work with people across Ceredigion who have been out of work for a while helping them take real steps toward a brighter future. Futureworks is looking for a motivated and empathetic Job Coach to join our employability team, based in Aberystwyth & Lampeter, supporting people across Ceredigion on their journey back into sustainable employment.

In This Role, You Will
  • Work directly with individuals who are long-term unemployed, guiding them through their employment journey
  • Provide one-to-one support to overcome personal and practical barriers to employment
  • Offer tailored coaching, job search support, confidence building, and re‑training guidance
  • Collaborate with local employers, training providers, and other stakeholders to create employment opportunities
  • Build strong, positive relationships and act as a trusted, motivational adviser
  • Track progress, meet performance targets, and celebrate client successes along the way
What We Are Looking For
  • Bilingual fluency in Welsh and English is desirable; you’ll be engaging with individuals and businesses across Ceredigion.
  • A strong background in employability, advice and guidance, recruitment, or customer service.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills – a natural relationship-builder, motivator, and problem solver.
  • A self‑starter with the ability to work independently, manage a caseload, and hit targets.
  • A good understanding of the local employment and recruitment landscape, including self‑employment options.
Additional Information
  • You’ll need access to your own transport, as the role involves travel throughout Ceredigion and occasionally Pembrokeshire.
  • This post is subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
