Continuous Improvement Specialist-M

1sht shift 7AM-3:30PM Temp to Perm The Continuous Improvement Specialist is for leading and supporting initiatives aligned with MOS (Magellan Operating System) that drive operational excellence, efficiency, and quality across the organization. This role partners with the Continuous Improvement Councils objectives and with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, facilitate, implement process improvements, and foster a culture of continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies.

This is a cross-functional assignment. Essential Responsibilities Aligned with CI Council objectives, review and study existing equipment, facilities, systems, parts and processes to improve efficiency, increase quality, and reduce costs. Lead, coordinate assessments and characterize greatest opportunities for improvement, waste reduction Develop a detailed project plan to prioritize identified improvement projects. In coordination with CI Council, engage teams and update projects as necessary.

Directs development of actions plan and estimates requirements for resources, management, labor, materials, and time needed to complete improvement projects. Coordinates activities in the Quality/CI Clinic. Facilitates CI project reviews, promotes visual management across the division. Use lean tools (Waste reduction, problem solving, value stream mapping) to accomplish goals. Support the development and implementation of standard ways of working, basic problem solving, idea generation, and Standard Work and best practices.

Provide divisional Continuous Improvement related trainings and participate in corporate committees
