Security Officer

Location: Bolney

We have a great opportunity to work as a Security Officer for our client, a leading global security and outsourcing group, specialising in outsourcing business processes in sectors where security and safety risks are considered a strategic threat.

G4S are recruiting for a Security Officer to work in Crawley for a multinational technology and data company. You will also occasionally be required to cover the Bolney site.

Contract Information:
Pay Rate: £14.29 per hour

Hours:

24 hours a week, days and nights. Overtime is available.
SIA Licenses:
Security Guarding or Door Supervisor

Unless local, you must have UK driving licence and own transport.

You must also be willing to work at a secondary site in the area based in Crawley/

Your Time at Work

As a Security Officer , your duties will include:

- Patrolling the site, internally and externally (average patrol time of 30 minutes minimum).
- Access and Egress control
- Monitoring of visitors, staff and customers to the sites
- Responding to security breaches and medical incidents
- Ensuring all customer standards are met on each site
- Must be willing to undertake ad hoc non-security duties. i.e. refilling humidifiers, cleaning, and refilling the coffee machine. Receiving deliveries and distributing milk bottles to various fridges

Our ideal security officer is a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times. Good IT knowledge is also key.

We are looking for people who hold a valid SIA licence.
