Job Description

Warehouse Operative with FLT Licence at our Heanor site. Rotating shift (6 am‑2 pm, 7 am‑3 pm, 7:30 am‑3:30 pm) Monday to Friday. Salary: £25,525.62. The role focuses on ensuring a smooth, efficient operation of the food manufacturing warehouse: managing stock, coordinating deliveries, coordinating with QA, reporting incidents, maintaining a safe work area, performing forklift startup checks, and meeting KPIs and audits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out stock checks
  • Use SAP or IFS to coordinate stock, book returns, and purchase receipts
  • Liaise with QA regarding quality issues with incoming goods or stock
  • Report all accidents and near‑misses following the reporting procedure
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and tidy work environment
  • Complete daily forklift startup procedures (SSUP checks)
  • Coordinate with departments in line with the business plan
  • Complete KPIs and audits as required
  • Report any issues to team leaders
Qualifications
  • Valid FLT licence for both reach and counterbalance forklifts
  • Previous warehouse or stores experience (experience in food manufacturing is an advantage)
  • Capability to work in a physically demanding role, including lifting and moving heavy items
  • Basic computer skills for stock management systems
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Full‑time, Heanor based role.
