Security Officer

Job Description:

Overview Staff Power is pleased to be working in partnership with a well-established construction company to recruit a Security Officer . This is a temporary position with a 12-week contract . The successful candidate must be flexible and available to work days, nights, and weekends as required. Responsibilities Surveillance & Monitoring Maintain a safe and secure environment for people and property.

Conduct regular patrols and monitor surveillance systems. Control access points and report suspicious activity. Carry out routine checks on security features and site lighting. Ensure outgoing mail is collected. Response & Reporting Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies. Provide assistance during fire, medical, or security situations. Observe and report criminal activity or disturbances. Record incidents accurately and submit clear reports.

Act within legal limits to protect life and property. Access Control Manage access to buildings and restricted areas. Verify identification and issue visitor passes. Maintain accurate entry and visitor logs. Brief visitors and contractors on safety procedures. Customer Service Provide assistance and directions to visitors. Maintain a professional and courteous manner at all times. Handle enquiries and complaints appropriately. Health, Safety & Conduct Follow health and safety policies and procedures.

Conduct safety checks and report hazards. Work safely, efficiently, and responsibly. Treat all individuals with fairness, dignity, and respect. Comply with all relevant policies, procedures, and codes of conduct. Participate in training and development as required. Job Type: Temporary Contract length: 12 weeks
