Box Truck Driver-Part Time Licking/Knox Goodwill Industries, Inc.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00/hour

Schedule:

4 to 8 times a month each trip could be 4 to 8 hours

Licking/ Knox Goodwill Industries Inc. has an immediate opening for Box Truck Driver! NO CDL Required!Deliver baby cribs and related materials to agencies throughout Ohio. Delivery routes will primarily serve the Columbus, Cincinnati, Dayton, and Cleveland with occasional travel to other Ohio locations as needed.

Job Duties:

• Safely operate a box tuck equipped with lift gate
• Load, secure, transport, and unload baby cribs and related materials
• Preform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Ensure cargo is transported safely and arrives in good condition
• Follow established delivery schedules and routes
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain required signatures
• Communicate professionally with agency staff and organization
• Report vehicle maintenance concerns, accidents, or delivery issues promptly
• Comply with all traffic laws, safety requirements, and company policies
• Perform all other assigned duties

Minimum Qualifications:

• Meet background requirements and pass a drug screening
• Valid driver’s license
• Have the physical ability to lift, move, and unload items weighting up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Must be flexible with working hours to accommodate business workload needs
• Strong organizational, communication, and customer skills

Preferred:

• Previous box truck experience
• Experience operating lift gate
• Experience making deliveries to multiple locations in a single route

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of materials
• Repeated entry and exit from the vehicle throughout the day
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions
• Ability to sit and drive for extended periods
• Experience making deliveries to multiple locations in a single route
