We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Integrated Planner to play a pivotal role in supporting the UK’s Strategic Nuclear Deterrent and naval infrastructure. About the RoleAs an Infrastructure Integrated Planner, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining comprehensive, integrated infrastructure plans across a nuclear defence site. Your expertise in schedule management will ensure coordination between multiple stakeholders, critical milestones, and interdependent activities. Working within the Site Infrastructure Programme led by the client, you will deliver strategic planning support that safeguards operational capabilities, enhances safety, and adds value through meticulous schedule oversight.
This pivotal role demands a proactive approach, keen analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively across multi‑disciplinary teams.
- Proven proficiency in Primavera P6 scheduling software
- Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Experience in developing and managing resource‑loaded project schedules
- Ability to analyze, challenge, and report discrepancies, risks, and opportunities
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills across organizational boundaries
- Good understanding of risk management and mitigation strategies
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
- Capable of supporting monthly programme updates and reporting
- Experience managing schedules on NEC projects
- Familiarity with working within operational or secure environments
- Construction or infrastructure implementation experience
- Experience working in a client or military environment
- Knowledge of NPREMA or project management qualifications such as PRINCE2 or effectively managing NEC‑based schedules
Education and Experience
- A minimum of 4-5 years’ professional experience in project planning or scheduling
- Demonstrated success in managing integrated programmes across project life cycles
- Relevant qualifications in project management or scheduling tools are advantageous
- Must be eligible to obtain and gain Security Check (SC) clearance
- Willingness to work within a secure environment
- Ability to perform effectively in a high‑security, sensitive operational setting
- Flexibility to support project timelines and deliverables within a 12‑month contract
