Diagnostic Vehicle Technician

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable main car dealership in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, for the position of Diagnostic Vehicle Technician. Duties of the Diagnostic Vehicle Technician:

• - Service and repair customer vehicles to manufacturer standards
• - Accurately complete job cards within designated time frames
• - Diagnose vehicle faults using industry-standard diagnostic equipment
• - Conduct routine servicing, repairs, and fault finding
• - Ensure all work is compliant with safety regulations and manufacturer specifications
• - Maintain a high level of professionalism when communicating with customers
• - Contribute to a positive workshop environment, supporting team objectives

Requirements of the Diagnostic Vehicle Technician:

• - NVQ or City & Guilds Level 3 qualification in Automotive Servicing and Repair
• - Proven experience in vehicle diagnostics, servicing, and minor repairs
• - Full UK driving licence
• - Strong ability to work independently and within a team
• - Well-presented with excellent communication skills
• - Passion for delivering high standards in vehicle maintenance and customer service
